Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our team in Egypt. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary determined after the interview. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Building Information Modeling, project coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration to support the successful delivery of construction and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage BIM processes across all project phases, from design through construction and handover.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows in alignment with industry best practices.
- Facilitate clash detection and resolution using Navisworks, Revit, or equivalent BIM tools.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure accurate and up-to-date model information.
- Prepare and deliver BIM execution plans tailored to project requirements.
- Conduct regular model audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Provide training and support to project team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
- Manage Common Data Environments (CDE) and ensure proper document control and version management.
- Generate coordination drawings, schedules, and reports directly from BIM models.
- Stay current with emerging BIM technologies, including 4D scheduling, 5D cost estimation, and digital twin applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Specialist on medium to large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-authoring tools.
- Familiarity with IFC standards, COBie data, and open BIM workflows.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of BIM 360, Trimble Connect, or similar collaboration platforms is highly desirable.
