Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Primavera, an authentic Italian dining venue. This role requires fluency in Italian and a strong background in food and beverage operations. You will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations across restaurants, bars, and room service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily supervision of restaurant, bar, and room service operations.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and minimize waste.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP, local municipality standards).
• Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and special promotions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Foster a positive team culture aligned with brand standards and Italian hospitality.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role in upscale dining.
• Fluency in Italian (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including fine dining service standards.
• Proficiency in POS systems (e.g., Micros, Opera) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe, HACCP) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Experience with Italian cuisine and wine pairing.
• Previous work in luxury hotels or high-volume restaurants in the GCC region.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.

This position is based in Bahrain. The role involves a fast-paced, guest-centric environment with a focus on delivering authentic Italian hospitality.
