Role Overview
Raffles Hotels & Resorts, the legendary luxury hospitality brand established in 1887, seeks a dedicated Sales Coordinator to support the sales team in driving revenue growth across our iconic properties. This role is pivotal in coordinating sales activities, managing client communications, and ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies within a world-class luxury hotel environment in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Sales and sales managers, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and distribute sales proposals, contracts, and correspondence with precision and brand-aligned presentation.
- Maintain and update the CRM system (e.g., Opera, Salesforce) with accurate client data, booking details, and sales pipeline activity.
- Coordinate site inspections and familiarization trips for prospective clients, travel agents, and corporate partners.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, forecasting, and revenue analysis.
- Liaise with internal departments — including Revenue Management, Events, Food & Beverage, and Front Office — to ensure client requirements are met flawlessly.
- Handle incoming sales inquiries via phone and email, qualifying leads and routing them to the appropriate sales manager.
- Support the execution of sales promotions, trade shows, and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the luxury hospitality sector in Qatar and the wider GCC region.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, data privacy regulations, and company policies in all sales documentation and communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales coordination or administrative role within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM platforms (Opera Cloud, Salesforce, or similar).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is a distinct advantage.
- Professional demeanor, discretion, and a service-oriented mindset aligned with Raffles' legendary standards.
- Legal authorization to work in Qatar.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with luxury hotel brands (e.g., Raffles, Fairmont, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental).
- Familiarity with MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) sales processes and group booking procedures.
- Knowledge of the Doha luxury hospitality market and key corporate accounts.
- Certification in Hospitality Sales (e.g., HSMAI, CHSP) or ongoing professional development in revenue optimization.
