About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Guest Experience Expert / Receptionist to join our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. Your mission is to deliver seamless check-in and check-out experiences while building memorable interactions that drive loyalty and positive reviews. This position blends front desk expertise with guest relations, making it ideal for hospitality professionals passionate about service excellence.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional greetings and efficient check-in/check-out services for all guests.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively address requests, from room preferences to local recommendations.
• Handle reservations, billing inquiries, and special requests with accuracy and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and maintenance teams to ensure flawless guest experiences.
• Resolve complaints or issues promptly, maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and front desk area at all times.
• Utilize property management systems (PMS) to update guest profiles, manage bookings, and process payments.
• Upsell room upgrades, amenities, and services to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience (1+ years) as a receptionist, front desk agent, or guest service specialist in a hotel or luxury hospitality setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and handle diverse guest personalities.
• Proficiency in hotel booking software, PMS (e.g., Opera, Amadeus, or similar), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and late hours as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree or certification preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with luxury or boutique hotel brands.
• Knowledge of local attractions, dining, and cultural hotspots to offer personalized recommendations.
• Conflict resolution training or crisis management experience.
• Familiarity with guest feedback platforms (e.g., TripAdvisor, Google Reviews) and service recovery techniques.
