The Meat Co. Bahrain is reopening its doors soon and we are assembling an extraordinary team to revive this iconic destination. We are seeking passionate and skilled Bartenders to deliver world-class beverage experiences in a high-energy, prestigious setting.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and premium spirits, with precision and consistency.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide expert recommendations based on individual preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels, monitor stock usage, and assist with ordering supplies to minimize waste.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and process payments in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless guest experiences, from arrival to departure.
- Stay updated on beverage trends, new products, and cocktail techniques to innovate the menu and elevate the guest experience.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of professional bartending experience in upscale restaurants, bars, or hotels.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of classic and modern cocktail preparation, flair bartending, and proper pouring techniques. Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirit varieties, including tasting notes and food pairings.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, energetic attitude.
- Certifications: Relevant hospitality or bartending certification (e.g., BAR, WSET, or equivalent) is a strong plus.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in hospitality or culinary arts preferred.
- Valid food safety and alcohol service certification (e.g., SafeServ, TIPS) is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
