About the Job

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our IT team in Kuwait. This role focuses on managing and protecting critical data infrastructure using Veeam solutions, including Veeam Data Cloud and Veeam Backup & Recovery. As a System Administrator, you will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our systems, with a strong emphasis on cloud and SaaS protection. This position is ideal for a skilled IT Systems Administrator or Network & Systems Administrator who thrives in a hands-on technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Veeam backup and recovery environments to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Implement and manage cloud and SaaS protection strategies using Veeam Data Cloud.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks.
• Configure and manage virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) as part of the backup infrastructure.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT operations and security policies.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and changes for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Veeam Data Cloud and Veeam Backup & Recovery solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and SaaS protection technologies.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) and storage systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
