- Job Title: Planning and Scheduling Engineer

- Department: Project Management – Western Region

- Reports To: Sector Manager

- Location: Project Site / Office (90% office, 10% site)



Job Summary:

- The Planning and Scheduling Engineer is responsible for monitoring the execution of projects in the Western Region, ensuring alignment with approved project schedules. The role involves preparing and updating project timelines, performance monitoring reports, and addressing risks and issues that may hinder project progress.



Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.

- Prepare periodic reports (weekly and monthly) on project progress.

- Monitor project execution and ensure alignment with the approved schedule.

Identify planned activities and update:

- Risk Register

- Issues Log

- Lessons Learned Register

- Daily Progress Records

- Coordinate with project managers and sector heads to resolve execution challenges.

- Track strategic milestones and ensure timely delivery of key project components.

- Prioritize tasks based on client requirements and deadlines.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Oversee project execution in line with the schedule.

- Align project activities with the company’s strategic vision.

- Ensure timely delivery of critical project milestones.

Communication Channels:

- Internal: Project Managers, Cost Control, Procurement, and other departments.

- External: Project Owner, Project Consultant.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
8+ years of relevant experience
Certifications: (PMP (Project Management Professional - SP (Schedule Management Professional) - PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional)
Member of the Saudi Council of Engineers
Proficient in: AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI
Familiarity with ERP systems
Arabic: Fluent - English: Proficient
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Meeting facilitation and project planning expertise
Problem-solving and adaptability
