Job responsibilities:

In entory Management:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods.

• Organize and categorize products within the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval.

• Regularly perform physical inventory counts to reconcile with system records.

Storage and Organization:

• Ensure products are stored safely, securely, and in an organized manner.

• Use appropriate storage methods to maximize warehouse space efficiently.

• Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to ensure product freshness and prevent spoilage or obsolescence.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requests or shipping schedules.

• Prepare orders for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling.

• Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections of stored goods to identify damaged or expired items.

• Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the relevant personnel.

• Implement measures to maintain product quality and integrity.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of equipment and personal protective gear.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

• Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs for timely repairs.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and stock movements.

• Generate reports on inventory status and warehouse performance as required.

Stock Replenishment:

• Monitor stock levels and reorder products in a timely manner to prevent shortages.

• Coordinate with procurement or purchasing departments to replenish stock as needed.

• Assist in forecasting inventory needs based on historical data and demand patterns.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and teamwork.

• Assist in training and onboarding new warehouse employees.

• Communicate effectively with other departments to fulfill orders and resolve issues.

Cleanliness and Organization:

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

• Ensure aisles, storage racks, and work areas are free from obstacles and clutter.

Security Measures:

• Implement security measures to prevent theft or unauthorized access to warehouse facilities.

• Monitor access to the warehouse and report any suspicious activities.

Adherence to Company Policies:

• Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to warehouse operations.

• Uphold the company's code of conduct and ethical standards.
