Job Description

- Job Title: Arts and Craft Attendant (Female only)        

- Department:        Community Services

- Reports To: Recreations Coordinator

- Summary: Responsible for the operation of the Arts and Crafts corner, by looking after kids, teaching them, and assisting them with the activities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Operate the site arts and craft center

- Greet and maintain a positive attitude towards the guests

- Ensure that the safety policies, rules, and regulations are maintained within the area

- Provide the new guests orientations on how to use the area

- Ensure the upkeep of the area

- Ensure the safety of children in games room area. Follow all safety procedures.

- Event Support

- Arrange new and exciting activities with the support of the Recreations Coordinator

- Support in the execution of the events

- Communicate guests requirements to Recreational Coordinator

- Co-ordination of Arts and Crafts to recreation services

- Ensure adequate amount of supplies are available

- Assist the kids with the art and crafts activities

- Sales of beauty items

QUALIFICATIONS

- Multi-lingual skills essential with Arabic considered a distinct benefit

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- Further education and a skill in arts and craft considered a distinct advantage
